Oswestry businesses wishing to be informed as to the latest council plans for significant economic growth in and around the town, are encouraged to attend the Spring Chamber Meeting on Wednesday, 7th March at Wynnstay Hotel at 6pm.
Attendees will hear from Shropshire Council’s Gemma Davies, Head of Economic Growth, and Hayley Owen, Growth Programme & Strategy Manager, on how the council see Oswestry’s growth strategy playing out over the next ten years, and how businesses can benefit from the opportunities this will bring. Steve Charmley, Deputy Leader, will provide the council’s perspective and update on their latest thinking with regard to topics such as the new Innovation Park, the role of the A5, Mile End Development, Oswestry BID and much more besides.
“This will be an Open Meeting,” says Chair, Mark Derham, “and we’d love to see a business full house, whether a chamber member or not, for what promises to be a vitally important subject for every Oswestry business.”
If you would like to attend, please email the Oswestry Chamber clerk at firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
