Fantastic meeting this evening yet again. We had an excellent update from Cambrian Heritage Railways on the project to connect to Gobowen, in the first instance.
Some useful information from the Trinity Area Residents Association about traffic flows around the town centre and central car park in particular, considering new ways to design exits from the car park to lessen the burden on residential areas.
An interesting discussion led by Jools Payne on engaging businesses with issues surrounding the fabric of the town which brought up several points to be taken further.
A group from Marches School then presented about Young Enterprise with guidance from Heather Noble, Salt Solutions. The four Marches’ students talked about their business project and fielded several questions from the floor of product selection, pricing, marketing and lessons learned. The members were impressed by the ideas, confidence and communication of the students and they are to be applauded for their initiative.
We finished with the Business Book Club, in which several business books were explored to bring out key messages and learnings, each book sparking a lively discussion!
Thank you to everyone for coming along…see you next time!
